Florida International University’s Ensemble-in-Residence, the Amernet String Quartet, is recognized as one of today’s exceptional string ensembles. Their sound has been described as complex with an old-world flavor. The Amernet has always been committed to the music of our time and has commissioned works from many of today’s leading composers and is also keen on collaborative projects recently appearing with Cantor Netanel Hershtik, jazz pianist Steve Allee, Josee Garant Dance and the Kruger Brothers.
