The Atlanta Alumni Chapter hosted their annual Elon Day Party with a record attendance
Along with 37 other Elon Alumni Chapters, the Atlanta Alumni Chapter celebrated Elon Day 2019 with a lot of energy and people at their annual Elon Day Party. The chapter's party was held at the Olde Blind Dog pub and was an opportunity for alumni to reconnect, make their gift, and celebrate their alma mater together.
Michael Gaytan '13, Atlanta Chapter president, spoke highly of the event by saying, "The Elon Day social at the Olde Blind Dog was the most attended Atlanta alumni event so far this fiscal year. It was great to see alumni of all ages come out to connect and support Elon together over food and drink."
Elon Day included 38 Elon Day parties held by each of the 38 regional alumni chapters around the world. Furthermore, each party held giving opportunties for guests to continue to make an impact. The special day set new records of philanthropy by raising $2,385,629.00 from 6,376 gifts.
