Techtronica is an ensemble focused on the use of technology in musical performances of popular music. The ensemble realizes studio productions on a number of unconventional instruments including computers, synthesizers, samplers, turntables, digital instruments and loopers, to name a few. As a result, Techtronica is able to showcase students in live performances of electronic musical styles such as house, trance, techno, breakbeat, dubstep, trap, etc. Other genres of music include pop and hip-hop.
