Sixty-seven students were honored during the May 23 cultural ceremony that celebrates the achievements of black students who recognize their African heritage.

The inaugural cohort of Master of Science in Accounting students and the newest classes of Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Management students received their diplomas during a May 23 ceremony in Whitley Auditorium.

Assistant Professors Tiffany Atkins L'11 and Vanessa Zboreak will add to Elon Law's Legal Method & Communication Program while Assistant Professor Katherene "Kathy" Conner begins direction of the law school’s Residency-in-Practice Program.

The senior Religious Studies major studied diverse approaches to the story of Lot.

Department of Physical Therapy Education faculty members Bill Andrews, Srikant Vallabhajosula and Crystal Ramsey have received notification of acceptance of a research study entitled Reliability and Normative Values of the Wheelchair Propulsion Test: A Preliminary Investigation. Co-authors include Meredith Smith and Meredith Holder Lane, both of whom are Elon DPT graduates of the Class of 2017. 

In her May 23 Baccalaureate address, the founder of Faith Matters Network urged the Class of 2019 to be active participants in the change they want to see in the world.

The students participated in Elon's ROTC programs, which are offered in collaboration with N.C. A&T State University. 

School of Education faculty members Katie Baker, Mark Enfield, Heidi Hollingsworth and Mary Knight-McKenna were recognized on May 21 for faculty excellence at the annual school awards banquet. In addition, staff member Jennifer Fish was recognized for her promotion to associate director of Teaching Fellows. 

The annual award is presented to the most outstanding graduating Elon MBA student.
