Join PLACE Public Lands for Agricultural and Community Enrichment in their Big Pick event, picking grapes for local hunger relief.
On Sept. 28 and Oct. 5, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., volunteers are needed to pick grapes to be donated to local hunger relief organizations. They may come for all or part of the time and it is helpful if they register with John Gladstone at the County Farm – jgladst@guilfordcountync.gov. The event is located at Guilford County Farm, 7315 Howerton Road, Elon, NC 27215.
