Joan Ruelle, dean of the Carol Grotnes Belk Library and associate professor, and Angela Wacker, assessment and user experience librarian and assistant librarian, were awarded $14,000 by the Colonial Academic Alliance for their collaborative project, “Assessment Toolkit for High-Impact Practices in Academic Libraries.”

Elon will lead the planned collaborative activities in coordination with Towson University and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. The project will create an assessment toolkit from and for CAA member academic libraries to create, collect, and share sample outcomes and assessment tools to more effectively articulate and assess how libraries add value to student success within the framework of High-Impact Practices.
