The honor recognizes 40 executives under the age of 40 who are excelling in the sports business industry.
Ben Tario G’12 has been named one of Sports Business Journal’s 2020 Forty Under 40 award recipients.
Tario earned his Master of Business Administration from Elon and is currently the chief financial officer, business and legal affairs, for the Atlantic Coast Conference. He was one of the 40 executives recognized by Sports Business Journal out of nearly 500 submissions.
Each year, the Forty Under 40 list celebrates the top young talent in the sports business industry. The 40 young professionals come from a variety of sectors, including teams, leagues, player representation, media, and more.
Tario and the other award recipients will be featured in the March 16 issue of Sports Business Journal, and each will be honored at the annual Forty Under 40 gala at the Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California, on March 26.
