Upcoming Center for Writing Excellence Boot Camps

The workshop hosted by Elon's Psychology Department, Drs. Kim Epting and Erika Lopina, will share strategies they've used to promote the transfer of writing skills/knowledge across multiple classes. Participants will be given time to brainstorm similar strategies for their curriculum.

Elon's four-year engineering degree program is included in ABET's 2020-21 accreditation evaluation cycle. ABET accreditation signifies a program meets global quality standards for education in engineering, applied and natural science, computing and engineering technology. The process should be completed in summer 2021.

The journalism and international & global studies double major has been named a 2020 Carnegie-Knight News21 Fellow, joining top journalism students from 16 universities across the country to examine youth violence and the juvenile justice system in America.

“Musar and Jewish Veganism” appears in Jewish Veganism and Vegetarianism: Studies and New Directions, a new volume edited by Jacob Ari Labendz and Shmuly Yanklowitz.

The Elon University course Creativity & the Doer/Maker Mindset was recognized for its creativity, quality, sustainability and impact on students.

The gift from Elon Executive Vice President Steven House and his wife, Patricia House, will support excellence in undergraduate mentoring, a hallmark of an Elon education. The couple’s gift is counted as part of the Elon LEADS Campaign.

Registration for the Challenge, which will be held Saturday, Feb. 29, is now open and closes Feb. 21.
