The ceremony, streamed live on the department's Facebook page, also included the presentation of a special Memory Book featuring the accomplishments of graduating seniors.
The Department of Music celebrated an online Annual Music Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, May 12. Department Chair Hallie Hogan went live on the Elon Music Department Facebook Page to announce the recipients of departmental awards. She also addressed and recognized faculty members and graduating seniors receiving degrees in Music in the Liberal Arts, Music Production and Recording Arts and Music Performance.
Shortly after the ceremony, viewers stayed tuned to the Facebook page as student workers Ana Segal and Natalie Sakoi uploaded videos expressing thanks and encouragement to the department. They also directed viewers to a special Memory Book that they created for seniors. This book contains photographs of each senior, their special memories, and kind comments from friends and faculty. It is located on the Elon Department of Music Facebook page.
