Assistant Professor of Mathematics Hwayeon Ryu participates in the American Institute of Mathematics workshop

The workshop, held virtually, focused on "Mathematical Modeling and Simulation of Tumor Angiogenesis."

Assistant Professor of Mathematics Hwayeon Ryu

Assistant Professor of Mathematics Hwayeon Ryu attended the (virtual) workshop on “Mathematical Modeling and Simulation of Tumor Angiogenesis,” for Jan 4-8, 2021, organized by American Institute of Mathematics, one of National Science Foundation-funded institutes located in San Jose, California. Her attendance was supported by American Institute of Mathematics.

During the workshop, Ryu and workshop participants collaboratively worked on a variety of (open) problems in the theoretical and data-driven side of mathematical modeling, with a goal of investigating the significant new advances in tumor angiogenesis and therapeutic directions.
