Vaccine updates are coming every day; check the R&R vaccine web page for latest updates about eligibility and vaccine sites.

Members of the Elon community,

Vaccine updates are coming every day; check the R&R vaccine web page for latest updates about eligibility and vaccine sites. Having the vast majority of campus vaccinated will support our plans to be in-person again next fall with decreased restrictions.

Below please find updates regarding:

  • Vaccine Eligibility & Sites
  • New Vaccine Appointments/Sites Available
  • Vaccine Survey
  • Where to Upload Vaccine Documentation.

Vaccine Eligibility & Site Updates

  • As mentioned Thursday, Elon employees are now eligible for vaccines as frontline essential workers in Group 3.
  • Students who are not student employees will be eligible in coming weeks in Group 4.
  • Students, staff, and faculty are strongly encouraged to get the vaccine wherever and whenever it is available to them, even in neighboring counties or cities.

New Vaccine Appointments Available

We learned this morning that the FEMA site in Greensboro will have 500 appointments available for Guilford County residents on Tuesday, March 9. Click here to sign up.

Check the vaccine page for updates about Total Care Pharmacy, Optum, Piedmont Health, and Cone Health appointments starting today.

Vaccine Site Information & Faculty-Staff Survey

  • Thank you for sharing vaccine site information with your colleagues and R&R Committee. We will continue adding testing sites as we hear of them.
  • Faculty and staff, please click here to complete a quick vaccination survey created by the data team to help us understand needs for support in securing COVID-19 vaccines, recommended vaccine sites, and numbers of faculty and staff requiring COVID tests this spring. Thank you!
  • The Infectious Disease Team remains ready to act quickly if the state allocates doses to be administered on campus. We will notify the community if this opportunity arises.

Where to Upload Vaccine Documentation

  • Students, faculty, and staff must complete the COVID-19 Testing Exception form and attach a copy or image of their vaccine documentation (vaccination record card) to be considered fully vaccinated.
  • Click here to read testing and quarantine requirements after being vaccinated.

We will share more information as it becomes available. Thank you for prioritizing getting your vaccination as soon as possible,
