Alamance Arts and GLC to present a virtual panel on identity and representation

Alamance Arts and the Gender and LGBTQIA Center (GLC) present a panel on identity and representation on Thursday, May 6, at 6:00pm.

Alamance Arts and the Gender and LGBTQIA Center present “Being the Model Younger You Needed: A Conversation on Identity and Representation” on Thursday, May 6, at 6 p.m. The panel conversation will feature Jade Wilson, a Black trans documentary photographer, photojournalist and video artist based in the Raleigh-Durham area.

The panel will discuss gender and sexuality, queer representation, stepping into your authentic self, and inspirational people who are living authentically. This collaborative event between Alamance Arts and the GLC will serve as a preliminary event for Jade’s exhibit at Alamance Arts which will run from May 17 to June 26.
