A leading global higher education ranking firm recognizes Elon among the nation’s leaders
QS Quacquarelli Symonds, a global higher education services provider, ranks Elon University #22 in the nation for the learning experience provided to students. The QS USA University Rankings 2021 were released May 5, part of the company’s annual portfolio of global college rankings that have been published at www.TopUniversities.com since 2004.
The learning experience metrics measured in the QS ranking include average instructional expenditure per student, the student retention rate, the student-faculty ratio and the Pell grant student graduation rates compared with the rates of other students.
The top-25 schools ranked in the learning experience category include the following:

The London-based QS Quacquarelli Symonds included about 350 top universities in this year’s USA ranking. Elon’s overall ranking of 171-180 is up 60 places from the 2020 ranking. The ranking methodology can be found here.
