The Elon junior and Elon News Network executive director will be one of 24 students to participate in the Society of Professional Journalists’ program focusing on student leadership and enhancing journalistic skills.

The essay by Hatcher, professor of journalism and chair of the Department of Journalism, was featured in the digital publication that focuses on telling stories about the American South.

The School of Education welcomed 16 new graduate students into the revised M.Ed. program on Monday, June 14.
