Mackenzie Hahn ’20 joins SPDC as graduate apprentice

Pretty soon the Student Professional Development Center (SPDC) will be welcoming our second Graduate Apprentice.

The Student Professional Development Center recently welcomed Mackenzie Hahn, a 2020 Elon graduate, as a graduate apprentice.

Hahn will be working in the SPDC for the next two years while completing her graduate degree in the Master in Higher Education program here at Elon. She will have a very student-facing and student-focused role where she will be able to provide career advising to all students across campus in both one-on-one and group environments.

Hahn is from rural New Jersey (the part that makes it the Garden State). She received her undergraduate degree from Elon in international studies and political science and worked at the Center for Design Thinking. After graduating, she joined Charles Aris as an executive recruiter but decided to return to Elon to future her education with a Master’s in Higher Education after realizing she wanted to combine her work in higher education during undergrad with her experience in career development.

Hahn is excited to help students build their resumes and reach their career goals through the SPDC. In her free time, she enjoys fostering rescue dogs, cooking, camping with friends, and traveling to new places!

Her office will be located on the first floor of the Koury Business School. Feel free to drop by!
