SGA piloting gender-based violence prevention program

The Student Government Association is partnering with two external consultants to develop structural proposals for preventing violence on campus.

Want to contribute to ending gender-based violence on campus?

Come join us for a two-part, student body-wide action planning session.

Elon SGA unanimously passed the Gender-Based Violence Prevention Pilot, which funded two external violence prevention consultants. These consultants will guide students through a two-session, customized, action-based program to generate student-designed structural proposals for preventing violence on campus.

This program will be run on two consecutive weekends (90 minutes per session) in mid-September. The results of this program will be presented to university administration, along with data-driven recommendations for new institutional violence prevention practices.
