The Department of Physical Therapy Education was well-represented at the national conference by its third-year DPT students, alumni and faculty members.
Faculty, current students and alumni in Elon’s Department of Physical Therapy presented their research at the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting in San Antonio, Texas on Feb. 2 through Feb. 5.
Fifteen abstracts from Elon faculty, students and alumni were accepted for presentation in the following sections: Cardiovascular & Pulmonary (1), Education (1), Geriatrics (3), Oncology (1), Neurology (4), Research (1) and Sports (4). Seven of those abstracts had students as the lead presenters/authors.
