TODAY: Elon to host Buzz with Honor

The Office of Student Conduct will host various events to increase student awareness and familiarity with their office and the Code of Conduct.

Elon University’s Office of Student Conduct will host Buzz with Honor on Tuesday, Mar. 19. The day’s focus is to increase students’ familiarity with the Code of Conduct and their responsibilities as students at Elon University. Additionally, the day will educate students about the values presented in the Honor Code.

Buzz with Honor Tuesday, March 19“The Office of Student Conduct hopes that events throughout the day will better prepare students for any potential future interactions with the Office of Student Conduct, and possibly prevent future policy violations,” said Rebecca Wiles, assistant director of student conduct.

The “Buzz” theme for the day encompasses the vibrant energy and enthusiasm surrounding the celebration of honor and integrity, both in and outside the classroom. Just like the “buzz” on social media or the “buzz” of a vibrant community, buzz aims to start conversations and excitement surrounding these crucial values. The Office of Student Conduct encourages individuals to engage and “buzz” about honor and integrity actively, fostering a campus culture where these principles are celebrated and upheld.

“Our office looks forward to this event, and any future outreach, to engage positively with students and teach them about student conduct,” Wiles said.
