Elon Women’s Volleyball Club spikes on Feature Phoenix

The video series offers a new way to learn about how Elon’s organizations and clubs reflect the university's approach to inclusive excellence.

The new Feature Phoenix series is offering an opportunity to learn about how student organizations and clubs are supporting inclusive excellence on campus. Episode Three introduces Tierney Offringa ’24, who serves as co-president of Elon Women’s Volleyball Club.

Elon Women’s Volleyball Club is a club sport open to all female students. The club is a competitive volleyball team made up of dedicated players that travel to play against other college club teams. They attend multiple tournaments over the school year and host home tournaments. The top players will travel to the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation Nationals in April.

Members of Elon Women’s Club Volleyball attend the fall and spring semester organization fairs to share information about the group and boost interest in participating. If interested, reach out to them on Phoenix Connect.

In this episode of Feature Phoenix, Offringa talks about her experience with Elon Women’s Club Volleyball and how it helped her. “A lot of it is diversity of thought. We want all of players to partake in the team,” Offringa said.

Feature Phoenix is a great way to learn about the clubs and organizations that Elon has to offer and how inclusive excellence is engrained on the campus. The series will feature clubs and organizations of different sizes that bring together people around a range of topics.
