Elon’s Love School of Business celebrates continued AACSB International accreditation

Fewer than 6 percent of business schools worldwide have achieved accreditation that signifies a “commitment to strategic management, learner success, thought leadership, and societal impact.”

Elon University’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business has successfully maintained its business accreditation from AACSB International, a nonprofit with a mission to elevate the quality and impact of business schools around the globe.

Founded in 1916, AACSB International provides quality assurance, business education intelligence, and learning and development services to over 1,900 member organizations and more than 1,000 accredited business schools worldwide.

Less than 6 percent of all business schools have earned AACSB accreditation. Elon University received official notification of its reaccreditation on April 3, 2024.

“The continuation of our accreditation affirms our commitment to providing superior business education, high-quality teaching and meaningful engagement with the business community,” said Raghu Tadepalli, dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business. “It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff and students.”

The Love School of Business achieved initial accredited by AACSB International in 2004. The AACSB’s continuous improvement review process is conducted every five years and signals that an AACSB-accredited institution “has documented continuous improvements in support of its stated mission and strategic management plan to sustain AACSB accreditation status.”

The Love School of Business has successfully undergone three prior reviews by AACSB International and for the third consecutive time, the school has distinguished itself by meeting all standards without the need for further improvement suggestions.

Accredited schools demonstrate an ongoing commitment to excellence in teaching, research, curriculum development, and learner success. The two-year process involves a rigorous external review of the school’s mission, faculty qualifications, curricula, and ability to provide the highest-quality programs.Accreditation Logo for superior business school
