Alumni win Oracle training competition

Elon University had the most alumni represented in the program for new associates at the company, with Caroline Scalici ’13 and David Goltz ’13 taking part in the winning team.

Caroline Scalici ’13 and David Goltz ’13 were members of the winning team in Oracle’s recent LaunchPad competition.

Scalici also received the Best Value Seller award.

The event concluded Oracle’s 10-week sales immersion program for new associates. A total of eight teams competed showcasing their demonstration skills and the training they received.

Alumni Brittany Bagilino ’12, Brenna Humphries ’13, Tyrice Johnson ’13 and Caitlin Jones ’13 also participated and successfully completed the program. Out of 86 participants, Elon University had the most alumni represented in the program.

Michael Rodriguez, assistant professor of marketing and director of the Chandler Family Professional Sales Center, served as one of eight judges.
