Elon’s current assistant vice president and dean of campus life has been selected to lead the student life division beginning on June 1, 2017.

 

Edward and Joan Doherty of Saddle River, New Jersey, have made a gift to provide scholarships for talented scholars who need financial assistance.

Through intellectual inquiry and entrepreneurial spirit, Elon scholars are expanding knowledge, providing new insights and working to solve difficult problems that challenge humanity. Read the annual President's Report for details.

The endowed professorship was established by Trustee Wesley Elingburg and his wife, Cathy, in 2007.

Dr. Danieley, who died Tuesday at the age of 92, will be honored in multiple ways during events on Friday, Dec. 2, and Saturday, Dec. 3. 

 

President Lambert has announced the death of President Emeritus J. Earl Danieley. He passed away Nov. 29 at the age of 92.

The professorship is funded by an endowment from Trustee Edward Doherty and his wife, Joan, of Saddle River, New Jersey.
