A program directed by Elon University graduate Audrey Seagraves was named a 2009 Tech Awards Laureate cash prize winner of $50,000 for the "Fair Wage Guide," an online calculator managed by Seagraves to assist millions of workers in the developing world who live below the poverty level.

Elon University seniors Ryan Pauley and Jackie Sapio spent Saturdays this fall watching ACC football games from the conference’s headquarters in Greensboro, documenting every yellow flag and missed call as part of an internship developed through the Department of Leisure and Sport Management.

Death of staff member Millard Lee

Millard Lee, a custodian for physical plant services, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009. Lee worked in the afternoons at Elon University and was responsible for custodial service in the Center for the Arts offices and music rooms, as well as monitoring special events there in the evenings.

Physical therapy program awards 37 DPT degrees

With their Elon University tutors in tow, 22 children made beelines Wednesday evening for such titles as “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” and “Just Grace and the Snack Attack,” books at a local retailer that would, hopefully, foster a deeper love of the written word while rewarding their progress in a reading program organized by an upper level education course.
