Blogs share stories from Winter Term study abroad programs

More than 600 students are studying abroad over Winter Term, and the Isabella Cannon Centre for International Studies is hosting a blog for parents and friends to stay up-to-date on experiences taking place in nations such as China, South Africa and Greece.

Read more about the some of the 25 programs (not including Project Pericles scholars who will also be overseas) by clicking on the blog link to the right of the page.

New Study Abroad programs in 2010 include the following:

Chile: Thriving, but Still Recovering
London: Human Services Practicum
Japan: Media and Culture

Fifty faculty and staff members are traveling overseas with 612 students. Programs will be on every continent except Antarctica. Courses range from ecotourism (Australia) to science education and development (India) to business in the Pacific Rim (China, Singapore and Vietnam).

Winter Term programs have an open application period, which allows students to apply for priority for Study Abroad opportunities in 2011. Follow the link to the Isabella Cannon Centre for International Studies to learn more.
