Mary Gowan, professor of management in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, was an invited faculty member for the recent North Carolina Society of Radiologic Technologists Annual Conference Continuing Education Program.

Art Cassill, the Wesley R. Elingburg Professor of Accounting, has been named the 2012 Outstanding Educator of the Year by the NCACPA.

Paula Weller, lecturer, and Linda Poulson, associate professor, both in the Department of Accounting in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, recently published a paper titled, “Sarbanes-Oxley and the Need for Audit Committee Independence: Contrary Evidence in the Textile Industry.”
