Catherine Dunham named associate dean for academic affairs at Elon University School of Law

Professor Catherine Ross Dunham has been named Elon University School of Law’s Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Since arriving at Elon Law in 2006, Dunham has taught courses in Civil Procedure, Appellate Advocacy, Pre-trial Litigation and other courses in the law school’s Trial Practice Program. Dunham also serves on the faculty of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and teaches in regional and national advocacy programs.

Andy Haile assesses cap-and-trade proposal in Triad Business Journal

Elon law professor Andrew Haile writes in a March 27 guest column for The Triad Business Journal that "our government should pursue important goals such as preserving the environment and reducing dependence on foreign oil to improve national security" but that a cap-and-trade system is not the best path to achieve those goals.

Innocent, freed death row inmate speaks at Elon Law
