Five faculty members and eight undergraduate researchers from the Biology and Environmental Studies departments represented Elon University at the N.C. Academy of Science conference at High Point University on March 24-25, 2017.

The associate professor in Elon's Department of Physical Therapy Education spoke about a study the university and Cone Sports Medicine are conducting for people who suffer from knee osteoarthritis.

The associate professor of music, who directs choral activities at Elon, also performed in concert.

Jamane Yeager, electronic access librarian, and Jerry Waller, systems librarian, presented on a better way to evaluate electronic serials usage on March 31 at the North Carolina Serials Conference in Chapel Hill.

Julie Lellis, associate professor and associate department chair in the School of Communications, has co-authored a new book that utilizes a zombie analogy to correct poor communication behaviors.

AAASE advisory members facilitated two highly attended panel discussions at the Annual American Association for Blacks in Higher Education conference held March 23-25 in Raleigh, N.C. 

Elena Kennedy, assistant professor of entrepreneurship, shared her research examining the revenue strategies of nonprofit social ventures, focusing on how revenue is earned, allocated and maximized in the face of competing charity and entrepreneurial mindsets. 

Assistant Professor of Biology Jen Hamel gave an invited seminar as part of the university's Department of Biology and Marine Biology seminar series on Friday, March 31. 

Tim McFarlin, a Legal Method and Communication Fellow at Elon University School of Law, writes about the dispute over the role Berry's longtime piano player had in crafting some of the star's biggest hits.
