Elon University music theatre alumna Ginna Claire Mason '13 steps into her dream role and flies by bubble as Glinda in "Wicked" on Broadway.

The team of Mike Garland ’15 G’16 and Tyler Parrott ’15 G’16 prevailed against student groups from more than 20 universities. 

Fifty-three graduate students received their Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees Sunday in a ceremony that recognized School of Health Sciences Dean Elizabeth Rogers, whose retirement in May will come 20 years after she arrived at Elon to help create the physical therapy program.

A Dec. 11 program in the Sacred Space of the Numen Lumen Pavilion marked the end of academic studies and the formal start of clinical education for members of the PA program's Class of 2017.

The music theatre alumnus will perform in "Legally Blonde: The Musical" for Norwegian Cruise Line and he encourages current students to "always strive to bring something different to the table."

Hundreds of people celebrated the arrival of the holidays on Thursday night as Elon University hosted its annual Festival of Holiday Lights in the heart of a campus aglow with luminarias honoring alumni and student donors.

More than 2,000 alumni and seniors will be honored on Dec. 3 during this year's Festival of Holiday Lights, which features singing of Christmas carols and luminarias, hot chocolate and cider, the lighting of a Hanukkah menorah, and a visit by Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus.
