The former Elon women’s basketball team captain and current Milwaukee Bucks reporter was honored in the “Outstanding Crafts Achievement On-Camera Talent” category for her work with Bally Sports Wisconsin. The 2015 alumna made history when she became the first woman to call play-by-play for the reigning NBA champions.

In her new role, Maity Interiano ’07 will lead the weekend evening edition of the network’s national newscast, “Noticiero Univision.” Interiano serves as one of the alumni co-chairs of the $250 million Elon LEADS Campaign.

Brzozowski, a track star during her time at Elon, pivoted to bobsledding after the pandemic hit and recently competed in the Junior World Championships.
