Elon University has released its President's List and Dean's List academic recognitions for the 2023 spring semester.

The National Council on Teacher Quality grades Elon University’s undergraduate program among the best in the nation for teaching future educators the most effective methods for helping children learn to read.

As a Pulitzer Center Reporting Fellow, the journalism major and Communication Fellow will travel this summer to El Paso, Texas, to conduct extensive reporting on violence and the dangers of migration, and their impacts on families.

Buffington has continued to build upon the success of the Student Professional Development Center with her more than 20 years of experience in industry and higher education.

The center recognized 76 students who each contributed at least 100 hours of work with the community.

Durr recently completed the Executive Education for Sustainability Leadership Program through the Department of Environmental Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Ringelberg will participate in the residential fellowship at the Clark Art Institute in Williamston, Massachusetts, beginning in January 2024, completing a manuscript about art genres and genders focused on 19th and 20th century France.

Elon University recognizes the 19 staff members who are retiring after years of dedicated service to the campus community.

Elon recently recognized five students who completed the Peace Corps Prep program, which includes training and experience in a specific work sector, foreign language proficiency, intercultural competency, and professional leadership and development skills.

Rugbart will study this summer at the University of Bristol through the program, which is sponsored by the U.S.-U.K. Fulbright Commission. He becomes the third Elon student selected in recent years for the prestigious program.
