Battles, vice president of global diversity, inclusion and engagement for Pitney Bowes, discussed the current state and importance of DEI in the workplace to the Elon community on Nov. 9.

Join Elon alumni, parents and fans as they cheer on Elon Men's Basketball during the 2021 Shriners Children's Charleston Classic from Nov. 18-21.

The National First-Generation College Celebration was held on Nov. 8 at LaRose Student Commons with several events to honor Elon's first-generation students.

The ceremony will take place at 9:45 a.m. at Scott Plaza.

The student-led programs are free, non-credit courses that allow students to explore new and exciting subjects outside of the classroom.

The discussion will take place in Turner Theatre.

Attendance was high for the three-day event which included twice the number of reunion celebrations and a host of entertainment, academic and athletic events.

A section of East Haggard Avenue that runs through campus will be closed from 3 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5.

The annual festival by the Elon University Garden Club and garden studio class was held Friday, Oct. 29, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Elon Community Garden.
