Preeshl was invited to conduct research on the mystery of the paucity of senior women in Shakespeare’s plays in contrast to the abundance of women in the professional theatre of Commedia dell’arte at “Thresholds of Change: Modernity & Transformation in the Mediterranean, 1400-1700” in this year's The National Endowment of Humanities Summer Seminar.

Brooks Depro, assistant professor of economics, was a member of the research team behind a new RTI Press publication, "Environmental Justice Concerns and the Proposed Atlantic Coast Pipeline Route in North Carolina."

The NSA grant will bring nine students selected from a national pool to Elon to work with Awtrey and participate in the Elon’s Summer Undergraduate Research Experience.

Faculty from the Mathematics and Statistics Department attended the electronic Conference on Teaching Statistics (eCOTS) and hosted the first eCOTS Regional Dinner at Elon University. 

Six Elon staff members were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the university at a May 25 awards program during the annual staff appreciation celebration in Alumni Gymnasium.

Research co-authored by Assistant Professor Kristin Roland examines the relation between pension plan payout horizon and pension asset allocation using information from SFAS 132(R) mandated disclosures.

Elon University saw seven staff members retire this academic year.
