Associate Professor Yidi Wu in the Department of History and Geography will serve for two years in the national nonprofit’s highly competitive Public Intellectuals Program.

The Army West Point Athletics staff member – and former sport management major – collaborated with School of Communications faculty members Young Do Kim and Cara Lucia to offer marketing-based strategies, case challenges, and teaching resources to help sports-related organizations meet evolving audience expectations.

Elon IT’s Gary Sheehan is stepping into a statewide leadership role as president of the new Cloud Security Alliance Piedmont Area Chapter, promoting smarter, safer cloud computing and expanding Elon’s presence in the broader cybersecurity community.

The article appears in "The Revealer," an online magazine published by The Center for Religion and Media at New York University.

Drawing on in-depth interviews with nine cancer survivors who experienced amputation during childhood or adolescence, the study highlights both the informational and emotional supports that helped patients prepare for and adjust to surgery.
