Associate Professors Anthony Hatcher and Rich Landesberg accompanied four student journalists to Louisiana to attend workshops highlighting journalism, technology and social media.

Peter W. Fritsch, vice president of research and director of the Botanical Research Institute of Texas Herbarium, and Catherine M. Bush, adjunct assistant professor of biology at Elon, published a new plant species in the current issue of the Nordic Journal of Botany.

The Center for Writing Excellence has partnered with the Elon University Law School in Greensboro to offer Writing Boot Camps at a convenient second location.

Writing boot camps enable faculty and staff to devote a full day exclusively to their writing projects. They are a great way to launch or make progress on your research/creative/professional writing project.

The annual Benefits Fair is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 25 in the Koury Athletics Center, Koury Concourse.

The group presented at the N.C. Associationfor the Education of Young Children (NCaeyc) Annual Conference in Raleigh on Sept. 16, 2016.

The grant will help fund his project, "On the Edge: Launching a Regional Interdisciplinary Symposium in the Southeast.”
