Elon University was represented at the 2015 MTEA Conference held at NYU Steinhardt from Jan. 9-11, 2015.

Coordinator of Instruction and Outreach Librarian Patrick Rudd led library service work at Ekukhanyisweni Primary School during the Winter Term study abroad class to South Africa.

The volume discusses the interconnections between international public relations and public diplomacy. The School of Communications professor’s chapter examines diaspora relations.

The assistant professor of human service studies had studied the topic as part of her doctoral dissertation and it remains one of her areas of scholarship.

Elon Law Professor Michael Rich explored the implications of new technology in the identification of likely criminals at the 2015 Association of American Law Schools (AALS) Annual Meeting.

A column titled "Vaccines, school contamination and the science of complex systems" appeared in the Feb. 13 edition of the Winston-Salem Journal.

Elon Law Professor Heather Scavone examines U.S. justifications for family detention of immigrant women and children, spotlighting a lack of legal representation for these families, as part the “Elon Law Now” series of faculty analysis and commentary about current legal issues.
