Plans for a new academic complex excited alumni, students and faculty who gathered Friday to help launch a fundraising drive that, once complete, will allow Elon University to double the amount of campus space dedicated to the School of Communications.

On Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at Elon Law - 201 N. Greene St., Greensboro, N.C., the Elon Law Review will host a symposium on media, regulatory and labor issues in college sports. 

Professor Steven Lessner in the Department of English was interviewed about his research in hip hop and his creation and development of a first-year writing pedagogy using this musical genre on 89.3 FM WSOE, broadcast live on Oct. 16, 2014.

In an induction ceremony held Oct. 11, 2014, Assistant Professor Carmen Monico became a charter member of the District 7600 Rotary Alumni Association two years after having served as an Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Research Scholar in Guatemala.
