Ben Evans, assistant professor of physics, has been awarded patent #8,586,368 for a medical diagnostic device which measures blood coagulation.

With 63 member states, UNIDROIT seeks to harmonize law across the globe through international conventions and the production of model laws. Elon Law Professor Henry Gabriel was the sole candidate from the United States, having been nominated to the governing council by the United States Department of State. 

Elon Law Professor Steve Friedland, who was featured as one of the nation’s 26 best law teachers in a recent book, shares insights about effective teaching in the December 4 edition of North Carolina Lawyers Weekly.
