Holy Thursday (Maundy Thursday) begins the Christian three-day period of the Sacred Triduum leading up to Easter Sunday. All are invited to the Catholic Mass held at Holt Chapel, which will commemorate the Washing of the Feet and the Last Supper.

Physics major Alison Deatsch ’13 is the first author of a manuscript on magnetic hyperthermia therapeutics published this March in the Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials.  The work, coauthored with Assistant Professor of Physics Emily Evans, describes physical mechanisms behind the remote heating of magnetic nanoparticles.
