Associate professors Samantha DiRosa and Ken Hassell of the Department of Art and Art History presented at the Association for Contemplative Mind in Higher Education national conference at Amherst College Nov. 11-13.

Professor of Legal History at Elon Law and Professor of History at Elon University David Crowe discussed "International Humanitarian Law and the Path to the Hague" at the Harriman Institute and the East Central European Center at Columbia University on Oct. 24.

Amy Allocco, an assistant professor in the Department of Religious Studies, delivered a lecture titled “Visual Language, Architecture, and Memory in the Collages of a Contemporary Tamil Muslim Artist” at the Dishman Museum at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011.

The study appears in the latest edition of the African Journal of Midwifery and Women’s Health.

Effectively Structuring Undergraduate Education for the 21st Century” in the proceedings of the 2011 Academy of Business Education conference.

Paul Miller, professor of exercise science, was recently awarded fellow status by the American College of Sports Medicine, the leading professional organization for exercise science.

Clyde Ellis, professor of history, presented the results of his two most recent projects at conferences in Maryland and Oklahoma.

Evan Gatti, assistant professor in the Department of Art & Art History, will serve as chair for one of two sessions for Undergraduate Papers in Art History at the Southeastern College Art Conference in Savannah, Ga., Nov. 9-12, 2011.
