Kevin O’Mara, professor of management in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, published a paper entitled “The Strategic Case for Mass Customization” in the summer 2011 issue of the Journal of Business and Behavioral Sciences.

Professor Mary Gowan was a member of a panel on "Building the Management PhD Pipeline" at the recent Southern Management Association annual meeting held in Savannah, Ga., Nov. 10-12, 2011.

Associate Director of Academic Support, Troy Martin, presented his paper "The Professionalization of Human Interaction: A Multi-perspective Critique of Ethical Code" at the 2011 AESA conference in St. Louis, Mo. This year's conference theme was "education and human rights."

Matthew Valle, professor of management in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, had his research published in the Fall 2011 issue of the Journal of Character and Leadership Integration.

Buffie Longmire-Avital, an assistant professor in psychology presented her research poster titled "Why Compromise (?): Assessing Sexually Risky Decisions for Heterosexual Black American Women," at the annual conference for The Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality in Houston Texas, Nov. 3 - 5.

President Lambert has appointed Susan M. Kirkland as assistant vice president for finance.

School of Communications assistant professor Phillip Motley and associate professor Amanda Sturgill each presented work at the International Association for Research in Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (IARSLCE) annual conference Nov. 2-4 in Chicago.
