Elon trustee Frank R. Lyon ’71 and his wife, Natalie Lyon, of New Canaan, Conn., longtime supporters of the Elon Academy, have made a major gift for the creation of an endowed scholarship that will aid graduates of the college enrichment program for high school students in Alamance County.

A major gift by Elon trustee Jeanne Robertson and her husband Jerry will provide lead funding for a renovation project for Alumni Gym in Koury Center. The project will upgrade Elon's home for basketball and volleyball, convocations and other large campus events.

Douglas G. and Edna Truitt Noiles ’44, of New Canaan, Conn., have made a $1 million gift to Elon University to support the Elon Academy, a university-run college access program for Alamance County high school students.

Tom and Karen Armstrong, longtime supporters of Elon University's study abroad and service learning programs, recently contributed gifts in support of the law school's Wills Clinic and its veterans scholarship fund.

In support of Elon University School of Law, the Stanley and Dorothy Frank Family Foundation, together with sons William A. Frank and Barry S. Frank, has dedicated $100,000 to create the Carole W. Bruce Endowed Scholarship at Elon Law.
