Want to be a mentor and role model for girls in the community? Now is your opportunity! Dream Center Girls in Motion is a new health program created for girls aged 9-12 from Alamance County focused on the social, physical, and mental well-being of girls.

This dynamic event offers a unique opportunity for students to make connections that could shape their professional journey.

Guzmán, author of "I Never Thought of It That Way: How to Have Fearlessly Curious Conversations in Dangerously Divided Times," will deliver the Common Reading Lecture on Sept. 21.

The Aug. 24 event on Young Commons drew nearly 2,500 students out to learn about more than 200 student organizations on Elon's campus.

The task force examined the experiences of API & MENA members of the university community and provided insight into how those experiences could be enhanced.

More than 50 first-year, exchange and transfer international students were welcomed during New International Student Orientation.

For the second consecutive year, the two journalism majors attended the popular conference for Black journalists and news industry professionals. They traveled this summer to the historic Alabama city with Assistant Professor Karen Lindsey.

The weekly tradition allows for the Elon community to gather for reflection, and holds the theme of "Meaningful Relationships Matter" this academic year.

The weekly social and intellectual event will occur every Wednesday.
