Hunter is competing for the highly competitive national fellowship awarded each year to those with goals of working in public service or government. Winners will be announced by April 15.

In conjunction with the Student Professional Development Center, the School of Communications hosted the COM Meet and Greet on Feb. 22, attracting seven organizations representing a variety of communications-related industries.

The group prepared its final report during summer 2021 that detailed nearly 40 recommendations for redesigning the university’s bias response and reporting system.

Through the Doherty Center for Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Black Entrepreneur Initiative provides resources and support to Black students, faculty and staff who wish to share and grow their businesses.

The special report highlighted Elon's Department of Nursing programs, Love School of Business graduate programs and the Department of Engineering.

Several alumni from the BFA Acting program at Elon are seeing themselves in prominent acting roles, thanks in large part to the preparation they received as Elon students.

Founded in 2019, the a cappella group helps Black students at Elon connect and strengthen their community.
