During two March 24 events, members of the Elon community gathered in person and online to discuss how hatred and violence toward Asian, Asian American and Pacific Islander people across the country.

Elon University students captured 12 awards in the Southeast Colloquium Creative Contest, a creative competition for members of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) and Broadcast Education Association (BEA).

During the 2021 AEJMC Southeast Colloquium, Meg Boericke ’20, G’21 discussed her in-progress research on how to take advantage of the video-sharing platform’s interactivity and combine it with established norms to better pre-professional and professional streamers' practices.
