A number of departments are holding special events to showcase undergraduate research.

The new site serves as a platform for students to share about their undergraduate research and what the experience has meant to them during a time when Elon has shifted to online learning.

Students in Associate Dean Kenn Gaither’s Public Relations and Civic Responsibility class brought international public relations case studies to life with an asynchronous poster session – accompanied by some kind words for one another.

Marketing and entrepreneurship double major Ethan Kaufmann ’20 reflects on his years of service through Elon’s Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement.

When its production of the musical “Violet” was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, cast and crew members from the Department of Performing Arts carried on with the show’s opening number in a newly released YouTube video.

Due to the impact of COVID-19, fifteen undergraduate and seven graduate students in the School of Education were inducted virtually into Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education that promotes the highest ideals of the teaching profession, on April 23, 2020. 

Sophomore Mackenzie Wilkes plans to leverage the web during her tenure leading the university’s student-run news organization.

Outstanding Elon students, along with distinguished faculty and staff, were recognized for their achievements and contributions to Elon during a virtual version of the campus tradition on April 25.

This fall, Jizelle Campbell, will follow her passion for advocacy and connecting with others all the way to American University in D.C., earning a master’s degree in International Affairs Policy and Analysis.

Mikayla Cohen ’20, a music theatre major, was part of an ensemble of more than 40 singers and musicians from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and the Berklee College of Music who performed an arrangement of the 2014 hit song.
