The two standout student-athletes were among those honored at Elon's annual athletics banquet on May 1. 

Nine communications faculty and staff members attended the Broadcast Education Association’s annual conference and Festival of Media Arts, where “Elon Local News” members accepted a “Best of Festival” King Foundation Award.

Outstanding students were honored at Elon's annual cermony sponsored by the Gender and LGBTQIA Center.

The Fraternity and Sorority Life community participated in various philanthropic work during March and April including the annual Food Drive and Greek Dance.

Elizabeth Meynardie '17, an elementary education major from Raleigh, N.C., will travel to Taiwan to teach as part of a federal program that builds goodwill between the United States and people of other nations. 

The Elon University Caribbean Students Association will host the annual Caribbean Fest on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Iconic Plaza from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The event will feature music, food, games, interactive displays, food, prizes and tons of fun. The event is free and all members of the Elon University community are welcome.

The 24th annual Phillips-Perry Black Excellence Awards celebration recognized students for academic achievement and involvement in the Elon Experiences.
