Student Experience

The conference for the National Campaign for Political and Civic Engagement brought together students and faculty from nearly 20 colleges and universities at the Institute of Politics at Harvard University. 

The students join a global community of Fellows charged with increasing campus engagement with innovation, entrepreneurship, design thinking and creativity.

At the second History and Geography Department Trivia Night of the year in the Historic Neighborhood, students tested their knowledge of African-American history in honor of Black History Month.  

A reporter for the news outlet interviewed a student in Elon's Study USA program in Los Angeles outside the Oscars on Sunday night. 

Professors Raj Ghoshal and Katherine Johnson facilitated a student discussion of Peter Singer's "The Life You Can Save: Doing Your Part to End World Poverty," as the inaugural Read On Elon event.

The March 1 contest marks the first time in the program's Division I era that the team can claim the regular season title outright with a win. 

Amy Mullan is competing for a highly competitive national fellowship awarded each year to those with goals of working in public service or government. Winners will be announced in April. 

The Pendulum and Colonnades won Best of Show awards, while several students were honored for their reporting, design, photography and writing.

Student media leaders from across the state attended professional sessions, many of which were led by Elon faculty and staff.
