Here is your chance to be Elon's mascot this fall

Alamance Girls in Motion, a program for fourth- and fifth-grade girls offering health education, physical activity and mentorship, and Girls to Empowered Teens, a similar program for sixth- and seventh-grade girls, will be starting at the end of September and are in need of Elon female students to volunteer as mentors.

Please join engineering professors who will be answering questions about the program and the profession on Thursday, Sept. 1, at 4 p.m. in McMichael 115.

Interviews will be held throughout the day in the Student Professional Development Center, Moseley 140.

This Thursday, Sept. 1, President Leo Lambert will be present at Student Government Association's first meeting of the school year.

Unplug is Elon’s newest mindfulness practice group designed to give you a quiet time for continued practice and skill-building.

The workshop focuses on several specific mindfulness skills and meditation techniques.

The Labor Day program will be held Monday, Sept. 5, in Whitley Auditorium.
