Led by Nick Margherita’s first-place finish, several School of Communications students and graduates were recognized in the 2016 Broadcast Education Association’s Festival of Media Arts. Their awards will be presented at the organization's annual conference April 17-20 in Las Vegas.

Scott Dikkers, founding editor of the The Onion satirical newspaper and TheOnion.com humor website, entertained an Elon University audience on Tuesday night in a campus visit sponsored by the Liberal Arts Forum.

Students handed out resumes on Feb. 23 to Elon University department supervisors who were promoting on-campus job openings that help with personal and career development.

Bill Zint ’79, WSOE’s first manager, reflects on the student radio station’s 1977 launch and its mission to bring together the Elon community. 

The two-day event, attended by more than 100 students, professionals and scholars, was organized in partnership with the PRSSA chapter at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
