Elon's Student Government Association passed legislation that led to new efforts to commemorate the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and remember the lives of those who were killed.

Honesty, integrity, responsibility and respect were emphasized in a Sept. 11, 2014, program for freshmen who heard from President Leo M. Lambert and other student leaders about the university's most cherished principles.

President Leo M. Lambert joined directors from the Center for Access & Success on Tuesday to greet academically gifted and civically engaged scholarship recipients for whom an Elon University education may otherwise have been financially impossible.

Honorary society and service organization Beta Alpha Psi held its annual accounting and finance "Meet and Greet" on Sept. 8 in McKinnon Hall to connect about 160 students with 15 firms.
